FS Flight Keeper is a payware program available from Aerosoft. We have secured a deal with Aerosoft that enables our members to purchase this program at a greatly reduced price. FS Flight Keeper (FSFK) is the program that we use to submit our PIREPs to the database and is a required purchase to become a member of Air Taxi UK virtual.

How do I get my reduced price FS Flight Keeper software?
Before we allow you to purchase the FSFK program at a reduced price you have to become a member. Upon becoming a member we will send you an e-mail containing a link to the required web page.

How do I set up FS Flight Keeper for ATUKv?
Once FS Flight Keeper is installed you’ll need to make some changes to customise it to ATUKv. Your welcome e-mail will contain the following:

• Our Welcome Message
• A PDF version of this Operations Manual
• Instructions on how to get FS flight Keeper
• A password for our TeamSpeak server
• A file called PIREPService.txt

Follow the instructions below to get set up:

1. Use the link in the welcome e-mail to purchase FS Flight Keeper at a reduced price
2. Install FS Flight Keeper
3. Read the FS Flight Keeper documentation
4. Copy the PIREPService.txt file to your templates folder (C:\Program Files\FS Flight Keeper\Templates)
5. Load FS Flight Keeper
6. Click PILOTS from the left hand bar
7. Click EDIT PILOT
8. Change name to your full real name
9. Change e-mail to your real e-mail address
10. Change Airline to Air Taxi UK virtual
11. Change Pilot ID to your ATX number (For example: ATX0999) (notice 4 numbers!)
12. Check that the pilot ID is correct as otherwise PIREP submission will fail!
13. Check the pilot ID again as this is VITAL!
14. Click the OK button to save your changes
15. Click File from the menu
16. Click Options from the menu
17. Change the "Number of Passengers" field to 1
18. Change the "Amount of Cargo" field to 0
19. Click the OK button to save your changes
20. Click file from the menu
21. Click options
22. Click the Templates/Email tab
23. Then check that the web (PIREP) file is set to PIREPService.txt. If it’s not then please change it.
24. Click OK to save your changes.

You have now set up FS Flight Keeper.
