Welcome to Air Taxi UK virtual
First and foremost, thank you for visiting our site. We try very hard to make our site both informative and fun. We hope you enjoy your stay.

Air Taxi UK virtual (ATUKv) is a virtual airline with a difference. We concentrate our efforts on making everything as flexible and community based as possible. We do this by encouraging our pilots to join in discussions in our active forums, hosting online events, having regular and fun competitions with screen shots, and various other activities. Oh... and we have real life meetings which are great fun, sometimes we even wear the same shirts!

Even though we are serious about our flying we make sure that if there is fun to be had, we're the ones having it. We have an entire section of the site dedicated to aviation humor which will be expanded as time goes on.
Career Progression. Unlike most virtual airlines we do NOT stipulate what type of aircraft or length of flights are flown by our pilots. We allow our pilots the freedom of choice. If you join and feel the desire to fly from Gatwick to Hong Kong in our beloved Boeing 747-400 then that is fine. However, we do ask that you take part in our forum and join in with our active community. You never know, you might end up as pilot of the month!
Forums. Our forums are a place that we strongly encourage our pilots to visit. We have sections on almost everything from the jovial Aviation humour to the most serious of topics. We also use our forums for training and various other support elements. Click here to visit our forums.
Fleet. Our large fleet has something for every pilot, from the small but impeccably formed Dreamfleet Cessna 152 to the beautiful Flight1 ATR72-500 to the huge and complex PMDG Boeing 747 we make sure that if you want to fly it, we have it. Click here to view our fleet. We are continuosly adding more aircraft as they become available, if you think we are missing an aircraft then let us know.
Aircraft Tracking System. In real life if you fly your aircraft to Leeds the next flight for that aircraft MUST be from Leeds! We have just implemented a new system that allows our pilots to locate their aircraft of choice and book it for their next flight. After your initial two flights you can choose to join our Aircraft Tracking System. The system comes highly recommended but is not mandatory.
Flights. As a pilot you have the choice of whether to fly in the UK or out into Europe or even worldwide, you have the choice whether to fly one of our scheduled flights or make up your own flight. Either way all the flying you do counts towards your total flight time and future promotions. we recommend taking off from Shoreham and flying to a location to pickup your passenger(s), taking them to their destination and then returning back to Shoreham, we feel this adds to the realism but it's totally up to you. A flight like above is filed as one flight in your PIREP form.
We Want You! If you should have any questions or wish to get in touch please post a message in our forum or contact one of our staff here. We look forward to having YOU as a part of our friendly and professional team. For more information about joining please click here to visit our Pilot Application page.

Richard Georgiou, ATX0001, is having flying lessons.
I have finally bit the bullet and had my first flying lesson with Sussex Flying Club at Shoreham. Click here to read about my first one.

"My instructor was carrying a device that looked like a small glass with a straw, after some fuel had been drained into the glass from one of the fuel tanks she moved the glass close to her mouth, I thought she was going to drink it!"
